At the Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Citizens Bancorp of Virginia, Inc. (the “Company”), held on May 21, 2009, Mr. Irving J. Arnold, a director of the Company, retired as of the date of the Annual Meeting.

 

 

On May 28, 2009, the Company issued a press release announcing the results of its Annual Meeting of Shareholders, held on May 21, 2009. A copy of the press release is being furnished as an exhibit to this report and is incorporated by reference into this Item 8.01.
