Item 8.01 Other Events

On July 31, 2009, Pervasive Software Inc. completed the purchase of assets from Greenville, SC-based ChanneLinx, Inc. for total consideration of approximately $2.6 million in cash. A press release announcing the completion of the transaction is attached as an exhibit to this report.
