On February 7, 2017, the Board of Directors of Associated Capital Group, Inc. ("AC") elected Frederic V. Salerno to serve as a director of AC.

On February 8, 2017, AC issued a press release announcing Mr. Salerno's appointment as a director. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
