On August 7, 2007, Mr. Lane Hamm, the Chief Financial Officer of Orion Ethanol, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company of his decision to resign as Chief Financial Officer effective August 20, 2007.

The Company anticipates that it will appoint a new Chief Financial Officer on or before August 20, 2007.
