Item 1.04.
Mine Safety - Reporting of Shutdowns and Patterns of Violations.
On October 10, 2019, Mosaic Potash Carlsbad Inc., a subsidiary of The Mosaic Company, was issued an imminent danger order by the U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration, under section 107(a) of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 (the "Order") at its mine located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The Order was issued upon observing a mechanic working under the raised forks of a Cat Forklift. The forklift was not blocked against motion and was observed with an operator at the controls rolling towards the mechanic. No one was injured as a result of this incident, and the imminent danger has been addressed.
