Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 2, 2021, Mack D. Pridgen, III notified Independence Realty Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) of his resignation from the Board of Directors effective September 2, 2021. Mr. Pridgen’s resignation is not because of a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
