CompCare Expands Management Team to Drive Continued Innovation and Bottom-Line Growth

Appoints Dr. Susan Norris as Senior Vice President of Operations

TAMPA, Fla.--()--Comprehensive Care Corporation ("CompCare" or the "Company") (OTCBB:CHCR) announced today that it has further strengthened its management team through the appointment of several highly experienced healthcare professionals over the past several months. The new members of the CompCare team have assumed new and existing roles at the Company in order to help advance its business through continued innovation of services and to implement an expanded sales and marketing plan.

The most recent was the appointment of Dr. Susan Norris, former CEO of MHNet Behavioral Health, to serve as CompCare’s Senior Vice President of Operations, effective March 1, 2011. Dr. Norris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida, with 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. She most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for CompCare de Puerto Rico, Inc. (CCPR), where she helped to establish clinical operations for the Company in Puerto Rico.

Prior to her work with CCPR, Dr. Norris held various leadership positions at MHNet Behavioral Health, a national leader in the behavioral healthcare industry with more than 400 employees in five regional offices. This included serving as Vice President of Operations from 2001 to 2004, President from 2004 to 2010 and Chief Executive Officer of MHNet from 2008 to 2010. Under her executive guidance, MHNet built up profit margins to approximately 30%.

Dr. Norris was also a Senior Mental Health Clinician at Gutman Psychiatric Clinic from 1995 to 1998; and a counselor with New Directions Counseling Center from 1993 to 1995. She received her Ph.D. in Philosophy and Psychology from Walden University, and a Masters in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University.

Additional recent hires include:

Richard T. Wright, MHA, was appointed Senior Vice President of Business Development at CompCare in September 2010. He brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare to the Company. Prior to this position, he served as the Senior Vice President, Business Development for MHNet, during which time he closed an average of approximately $12 to $15 million per year in incremental gross revenue, helping increase the total annual gross revenue running rate from $750,000 to over $135 million during his tenure.

Gabriel Kaplan, M.D., joined CompCare's team as its Senior Medical Consultant in late 2010, bringing more than 15 years experience as a healthcare consultant to insurance and pharmaceutical companies such as Cigna, Aetna, Value Options, Wyeth and Shire Pharmaceuticals. His areas of consultation involve medical market research, delineation of healthcare benefits, web-based medical information, international business plan development, management of physician networks and clinical trials. Dr. Kaplan is a Board-Certified adult and child psychiatrist and Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Robert Siegel was appointed as President of the Company’s Comprehensive Care Benefits, Inc. (CCB) subsidiary in January 2011. Mr. Siegel brings over 22 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Siegel has founded, built and transformed a number of insurance companies, including BAI Associates and Employee Choice Benefits in partnership with AIG. Most recently, Mr. Siegel created a partnership between MetLife PPO Dental, in Colorado, and the state's leading DHMO provider, Beta Dental.
