URS-Led Team Selected by U.S. Department of Energy to Provide Remediation Services to East Tennessee Technology Park

Contract Has Maximum Value of $2.2 Billion to Team

SAN FRANCISCO--()--URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that a URS-led team has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to provide remediation and cleanup services to the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The ETTP site consists of a number of industrial facilities originally used to support the Manhattan Project during World War II. The contract has an initial five-year term, followed by a four-year option period, and has a maximum value of $2.2 billion to the team, assuming the option is exercised.

The contractor team includes URS Energy & Construction, Inc. and CH2M HILL Constructors, Inc. Restoration Services, Inc. is providing subcontractor services as well. Under the terms of the contract, the team will manage and execute cleanup work at ETTP, providing decontamination and decommissioning services.
