NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jefferies announced today the hiring of Michael Prew as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst for UK Real Estate Equity Research. Robbie Duncan also joins Jefferies as a Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst for UK Real Estate Equity Research. They are both based in London.

Expansion of the firm's research capabilities in the Real Estate sector is part of a broader effort to enhance Jefferies’ strong focus in Real Estate across research, sales, trading and investment banking. In the broader Real Estate, Gaming, Leisure and Lodging sectors, Jefferies recently announced the appointments of Ian Rennardson and Andrew Lee as Senior Equity Research Analysts focused on Travel and Leisure.

Mr. Prew joins the firm from Nomura, where he was a Managing Director and Analyst in Equity Research covering Real Estate companies. Previously, he was a Managing Director in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers. He received an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Imperial College, London.
Mr. Duncan also joins the firm from Nomura, where he was an Analyst in Equity Research covering Real Estate companies. Previously, he was an Analyst in Equity Research covering Real Estate companies at Cazenove. He received a BS in Zoology from Durham University.
